Welcome
The 50th Cambridge Scout group is based in the village of Milton near Cambridge. We offer modern facilities with a dedicated team of leaders, who between them have a wealth of experience in the various aspects of today's modern Scouting.
Our group is a family comprising four sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers) for young people between the ages ages of 6 and 18.
If you are a parent with a child joining our group, you may like to read our Welcome Pack.
We have a marquee and other tents which are available for hire for your event. We also have a modern 15-seater minibus for hire to non-profit making community and voluntary groups in Milton and the surrounding area.
What is Scouting?
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
As Scouts, we are guided by the values of integrity, respect, care, belief and co-operation.
Our programme of events is based on principles such as:
- taking part in activities indoors and outdoors
- learning by doing
- taking responsibility and making choices
- undertaking new and challenging activities
If you want to find out more about the Scouting movement, the Scout Association produces the "What do Scouts Do?" guide.
All our registered leaders are fully CRB checked.
